If you want to discover the unspoiled nature of the Ultental Valley without hectic and with much feeling you should take out your winter boots. Such excursions are good for both body and soul!

- Ulten Farms' Path: The Farms' Path leads from Kuppelwies/Pracupola along a sunny slope to St. Gertraud/S. Gertrude past numerous traditional farms made from wood with shingle roofs and past the Ulten Valley Museum in St. Nikolaus/S. Nicolò.

Walking time: 2.5 hours - To Steinrast: From the Schwemmalm valley station along the Moscha toboggan run to the alpine guesthouse Steinrast.

Walking time: 40 minutes - Innere Schwemmalm: Fom the mountain station of the Schwemmalm cable cars to Äußere Schwemmalm, then to Innere Schwemmalm, the Schweighöfe farms, Dreifenster and back to the mountain station of the Schwemmalm cable cars.

Walking time: approx. 2 hours
Furthermore, there are numerous hiking options on the access road to the harbours like for example to St. Helena/S. Elena or to St. Moritz/S. Maurizio and to widely dispersed alpine farms.
